The Belmont Hill Football team had a 3-0 record heading into the fourth week versus BB&N, as two of the best teams in the ISL went head-to-head. Belmont Hill looked to keep the undefeated record going but came up short in a 34-13 loss against the Knights, but battled until the end, kept their heads high, and looked forward to the next game, Thayer. The team regrouped after the BB&N game and really became a well-oiled machine with anger as our fuel after the tough BB&N loss. In preparation for Thayer we reset as a team, which led to great practices and chemistry and led to a 28-6 homecoming win. As the team currently looks forward to Tabor, I think we have a real shot at winning this tough matchup, as coach Messina said, “I think the guys have really come together and gelled as a unit to move forward throughout the season to reach our goals and find new ones, you know we work really hard all week for that to pay off on Fridays and Saturdays.” The Panel wishes the Belmont Hill Football team the best of luck for the rest of the season.
