On Friday morning, December 12th, the chapel was filled with festive music from the B-flats, faculty, and other students. The chapel began with Carol of the Bells played by Ryan Chang-Wu ’27 on the violin, Harry Liu ’27 on the cello, Nathan Zhang ’26 on the piano, Ethan Xie ’26 on the saxophone, Brandon Li ’26 on the saxophone, Grant Hanser ’26 on the cello, and Jai Somani ’26 playing the saxophone. Following their performance, the B-flats sang This Christmas with Fritz Sainthelmy ’29, Josh Langham ’28, and Zachary Park ’28 as solos, with Mr. Patterson directing. When asked about the B-flat’s performance, B-flat’s member Zach Park ’28 said, “I think it went well, we practiced a lot for it, and I think the practice showed in our performance.” Mr. Schnieder then played the saxophone while Ms. Hamilton sang. Finally, to close the chapel, all the faculty sang The 12 Days of Christmas. Faculty members dressed up to match the song’s lyrics, dressing as swans, drummers, geese, and hens. When reflecting on the chapel overall, one student mentioned, “The chapel was fun and upbeat. I enjoyed it, and it was a good chapel to have on the last day of school before exams.”
