Grandparents of Forms I and II Students Visit BH

On Friday, May 10, Belmont Hill welcomed hundreds of guests for Grand Guest Day. Members of Forms I and II invited family members or close adult friends to campus. The program included speeches from Ronald M. Druker ’62 Head of School Mr. Schneider, Middle School Director Mr. Sullivan, and performances by students from Forms I and II.

Following the session in the chapel, the young students and their guests enjoyed platters of milk and cookies. Subsequently, students led their guests on campus tours, showing them their favorite study spaces, buildings, and other spots on campus.

“My favorite part of the day was being able to show [my grandparents] around Belmont Hill, explained Luke Alessi ’29. Students then brought their guests to their C and D block classes. Classes continued as usual so that the special guests could see real-life Belmont Hill classes. Mr. Harder’s C-Block Spanish class was conducted entirely in Spanish.

The tradition of Grand Guest Day, in its second consecutive year after an interruption due to COVID, will continue well into the future, allowing generations of young Belmont Hill students to show important people in their lives what they love about their school.
