Mr. Williams Joins Belmont Hill

Mr. Martin Williams, the newest member of the History department, is excited to join the Belmont Hill community. He grew up in Chestnut Hill as the youngest of three siblings. In his middle and high school years, he attended Nobles where he wrestled and won the Graves-Kelsey tournament in 2015 at 285 lbs. After graduating, he attended Middlebury College from which he graduated in 2020. Before coming to Belmont Hill, Mr. Williams taught History at the Brunswick School in Greenwich, Connecticut for a year. The teaching experience made him appreciate his home in Massachusetts and his hometown where he finds himself this year.

At Belmont Hill, Mr. Williams will teach across a multitude of grades including the Form II government course, Middle East and China, 20th century world history, and the Form V US history course. This fall, he is coaching Fourth Football, and will coach Varsity Wrestling in the winter. Mr. Williams is excited to advise his group of Form IV students and also get to know students in all forms through his coaching and teaching experience.
