The Nordic Skiing team is off to a good start this season, despite the obvious lack of snow. There are several new recruits to the team from almost all grades, and all are showing promising signs for the near future. The skiers have been training by running Harvard stadiums, as well as taking advantage of the school’s new roller skis. The team is also preparing for its annual showdown with the Alpine ski team in Zippy Fun Ball. Finally, the team is looking forward to its yearly trip up to the skiing areas in Jackson, NH, right near the base of Mt. Washington. The team may even be using paintball guns to practice biathlon skills while up in NH. Everybody is now looking forward to getting their skis on the snow, and are preparing for a fun and successful season.
