Al Horford, who signed an extension with the Celtics in the playoffs, also adds to this roster. Marcus Smart, who averaged almost 2 steals per game and won Defensive Player of the Year last season, will lead the Celtics’ backcourt alongside Malcolm Brogdon, who was acquired via trade.
